As a qualified Chiropractor with over 15 years of experience in the clinical and academic setting, Dr. Ti Pence is delighted to join the Positive Motion team. Dr. Ti has worked as a Corporate Chiropractor at Stanford Health Center Qualcomm for three years where he provided the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions for patients of diverse backgrounds. In particular, he cared for patients employed at Qualcomm and their family members in an interdisciplinary clinic, which included providing chiropractic adjustments of the spine and extremities, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitation exercises; he co-managed patient care together with the Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Acupuncturists at the clinic; and he gave lectures to physicians, interns, residents, and staff at the Stanford School of Medicine as well as Qualcomm employees regarding the role of chiropractic in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.

This builds upon Dr. Ti’s 12 years of clinical and academic experience, which includes eight years of experience as a Clinical and Academic Faculty member at Palmer College of Chiropractic West, ten years of running a private practice, and two years as co-CEO of PATTERN Functional Adjusting, LLC where he lectured on extremity adjusting.

In addition to Dr. Ti’s extensive clinical and academic experience, Dr. Ti holds a Chiropractic Sports Practitioner Certification, and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association. During Dr. Ti’s time at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Ti had the honor of receiving the Clinician of the Year Award and representing the Palmer College of Chiropractic West Sports Council as Faculty Clinician.

Dr. Ti has used his sports background to provide care to Paralympians and Olympians at the Olympic training center in San Diego, volunteered ringside at mixed martial art events, volunteered at the world weightlifting championships, and lead students in the care of athletes at countless events including the Sea Otter Classic, numerous running events from 5-50K, rugby and the annual Turkey Trot 5k run.

Personally, Dr. Ti spends his free time outdoors with his family.  He is also an avid martial arts enthusiast with extensive knowledge in Tai Chi and Medical Qigong.  Dr. Ti has also achieved his black belt in Krav Maga and continues to train in both Krav Maga and Brazilian Jujitsu.
